VellumScan

Photograph the book. VellumScan does the rest.

1

The problem

Cataloguing an antique book collection is slow, expert work — identifying the edition, the publisher, the year, the condition, the value, one book at a time. Dealers, collectors, and libraries sit on thousands of books they can't fully catalogue, so collections go under-described, under-insured, and under-sold.

2

What we built

Photograph the spine, the cover, the title page, the imprint — then move to the next book. VellumScan extracts the metadata, classifies the book, estimates its market value, and makes the whole collection semantically searchable. Anything it isn't confident about gets flagged for review, and nothing fails silently.

3

The outcome

A collection catalogued at camera speed instead of expert-reading speed. Every book identified, valued, and findable — and the whole catalogue exports straight to the platforms that feed antique marketplaces, so the collection is ready to sell the day it's catalogued.
